** I can't remember where I got my original Bacon Fudge recipe, and this has now been my go to recipe for making Bacon Fudge and any adaptions***

1 x can of Sweetened Condensed Milk
5 x rashers of Bacon
2 cups of semi-sweet chocolate chips
1tsp of vanilla extract [optional]
brown sugar

1. Cook bacon in frypan or oven, and sprinkle with brown sugar. This will candy the bacon. I'm very liberal with the brown sugar, but you can add as little or as much as you would like. Once cooked, put to the side.
2. In saucepan combine condensed milk, chocolate chips and vanilla extract and cook over a low-medium heat. I constantly stir mine to ensure the chocolate chips are completely melted.
3. Add a 1/3 of the mixture to the bottom of your greased pan [I like to line a baking dish with foil, and spray the foil]. Put the bacon strips on top. Then pour the remainder of the mixture on top and spread around.
Leave in the fridge overnight, then slice it up the next day!
